1 Remove the 25 AMP fuse for door locking from fuse box under the bonnet. This disables central locking. The passenger door opens fine. The key however won't turn in drivers door. 2, Spray WD40 or other moisture repellent protective lubricant on key. Insert into drivers lock- gently turn back and forth.
Its hard to know. When I had a central locking system problem, I had multiple codes and multiple symptoms. For example, the keys worked sometime and didn't work other times. WhenI bought it and went to get in the car I realised the key fob wasn't unlocking the door. He said "oh yeah, that's just because the battery was changed and Mercedes told me it's just a 5min job if you pop in, the key fobs need to be re-synched. The central locking switch was working.
